LS7 or Coyote?

This is what it comes down to:-

Bet with your heart - go Coyote and have less options.
Bet with your wallet - Go LSX and go nuts.

Either way you will be happy.

My stock LS1 with 327 rwhp can still give me a scare!

I, personally, would opt for the LS7. I currently have an all aluminum 509 with more torque that I care for but it wasn't planned. The LS7 future options are what would sell it for me. For my application it would be my personal choice.

This Yank votes for the LS7.

I have one in my 07 Z06 and with tune, headers and CAI it puts 509 @ the tires. The fit would be much easier too, not to mention the great weight savings.

Cobra = Ford Engine (No other choice) want to put a Chevy in it then buy a Grand Sport!
