Default Penske jewellery arrived

Have been waiting on these shocks for months, they took ages for various reasons. This artwork is too nice to hide under the guards, maybe they should be hung on the wall!

These are 7500 double adjustable with digressive and VDP piston

It doesn't get much better than that.

You won't be disappointed with them.

I'm in love! How about posting some pictures of your build so far, it would be great to see what you've done.

Regards.

Ben, I reckon they'd look great on Davew's chassis :-)

You might have to update the paint on your chassis to suit the shocks :-)

Great blog Ben. A real asset for others as well. The one that I most relied on when I was building was Geoff's (Cob07) and that was so helpful.

Modena, did you buy the shocks locally, or from the states?

Regards.

Penske USA will put you on to Penske Australia, who is NT Tyres in Adelaide. The shock design and build spec is done here, components are distributed by USA and then assembled and dyno'd locally. Bill at NT Tyres really knows his stuff.

The shocks also come with a technical manual, which includes FULL instructions, full graphs of rebound and bump adjustment ranges, full exploded component diagrams, dyno charts for your actual shocks, detailed spec sheets as per your shock design and build, I mean this shock manual is very impressive and bigger than most Cobra assembly manuals. If people are interested in seeing it I can maybe scan it?

Your Cobra had a manual?

They are certainly a thing of beauty!

Very nice!!! Sounds like the valving is very custom: what kind of information does penske require to set up the shocks for your specific car?

A couple of people have asked to see the manual, so I scanned it in;

Ben's Penske 7500-DA Manual

Enjoy!
