Amazing, who ever buys it will certainly have an interesting story to go with it.
Must be close to the most well known cobra in Australia.

The pics show the dash plaque and VIN tag, which doesn't appear to still be affixed to the car. Although they don't say it, I assume they both come with the car because as far as I know, SAI will NOT provide duplicates of either.
Easy enough to verify the VIN # on the frame.

I am sure this car is "flagged" by every agency in AUS by now!

They've built just a bit of margin into their asking price I see Stef!

Car's up for sale again. I hope he gets a decent price for it. Looks like the autographed glove box wasn't recovered.

I am always baffled why people have an expensive car, yet put the cheapest possible tyres on them.

Dave I always wonder that too !
It used to amaze me when I worked retail tyres that a bloke would come in with a Beemer X5 or a Benz 4x4 or a Hummer and have a hissy fit when you tell them that their tyres are going to cost $450-550 ea. The most common response was I've never paid that much for a tyre EVER and I'm not going to pay that now !
I'd pretty much come back at them with something like " well didn't you think to check on the cost of running the car BEFORE you bought it ?" I'd then get the F@#? Oorrff look if not the words !
You could just about guarantee that you see again in 6 months or after heavy rain with a cheap unknown brand of tyre and complain about how its ****e in the wet and nearly killed me !!
mate likes this.

Hey Spook, is that true about the non genuine 65s being recalled? I thought you were leading up to an April fools joke. So this car might stay unregisterable for another 10 years unless converted to RHD, or not at all?

Yeup apparently so. Send Stef a pm and he can fill you in. I was super keen on buying Tony Denny's Gt40 (bill Ds rcr)as rcr aus at the time brought it in as a 66 etc. I chased / wanted it since I first saw it in about 09 or thereabouts but now that makes it all something to stay away from imo. I won't go near it now.

As I say give Stef a call and he can give you the specifics.
