Making progress!

Made a bit more progress on the car over the past couple of months.

Got the radiator installed and made up some stainless steel pipes. I used a 66 mustang alloy radiator and 1.5" plumbing. Also added a line filler so the level was a up higher than the radiator. I cant get it higher than the heads but its close enough.




I made a start on my exhaust headers this weekend. Almost finished one side. Decided to go with 1 7/8 pipe. It is very tight, so took ages to get all the bends as tight as possible. I did my best to get the pipe lengths as close as possible but with such limited space it was a bit hard. These will be ceramic coated when finished. I dont have much clearance between the pipes and foot box. Might have to add a heat shield to protect the paint.






Any one got a source for 4 hole 1 7/8" flanges???
I have collectors that go down to 3" as shown in the pic (not yet welded), but am thinking i should add a 4 hole flange in between to allow for a track exhaust to be bolted on.
