Some more progress pics and commentary.
Firstly, made up the dual quad throttle linkage from some rose joints and alluminium rod, the ball joints are Left and right thread, for easy adjustment, but probably only do this once and never again.
My son joined a "kickstarter" program 2 years ago for the development of a 3D printer, it uses laser light to cure a resin (Stereolithography) and has very fine resolution 25 micron (0.001 inches....1 thou). This is a lot finer resolution than the extrusion printers available.
He's right into systems engineering and currently doing year 12. He just won an Australian Student Top Design Award for his "Bionic Arm" he built last year as a year 11 student, its on display at Melbourne Museum......Proud Dad moment.
Backing the project results in a printer and resins which arrived last month.
Anyway, i want in on the fun and my first part was a mounting for the MAP sensor on the CR.
There is an 3/8" NPT port on the back of the Holley manifold which would normally be used for Brake booster or Vacuum accumulator etc which i wont be using.
I designed a mount that fits over the boss with a hole in it that would then be sandwhiched in place by a 3/8" NPT bung.
The bung has a 12mm hole bored through it for the map sensor to fit into, and is held in place by a bolt into a rivnut fitted to the mount.

I also printed up an
oil cooler tube clamp to see how it would look.
I have been making my brackets from Aluminium but thought i'd see how it comes out.
The resin material has the properties of ABS plastic after curing.
I've also fitted the Radiator and Fuel Tank.
Both of these were made by Shaun Melish at Shauns Custom Alloy.
Shaun is great to deal with and his work is amazing, second to none.

At this stage, i'm now working from the front to back connecting up hoses and fittings, then onto chassis wiring and back onto making up the headers.
