That's very cool. Did the FFRs have solid rears, or IRS? I wonder how something like an ERA/Kirkham/Shelby with a high-HP aluminum big-block and IRS would fare?

I think I heard a brief mention of an "8.8 rear end".....if that's the same as what I've got in my new car....its a Ford Thunderbird 8.8 IRS.

We already know how a Kirkham does against a 458

That is a hell for strong Kirkham. Back in the day (on those 1960s tires) 427 Cobras ran more like low 12s at 118 or so.

Back in the day - they didn't have aluminum block 427's putting out 750 HP. That Ferrari was set up!
