Thanks for the photos - all of them are a great help for me to be able to visualise how things go together. Can you also tell me how the radiator is fixed to the chassis along the top? I can see the bracket on to the radiator, but not how it fixes to the chassis. Your car is progressing really well, and looks great! You must be excited to be nearing completion. Cheers, Richard |

The radiator piece that seals the top between the radiator and the body is bolted to the raised edge on top of the radiator. You can see the heads of the screws in the photo. Cheers Brad |

Sorry - you are right. I meant where does it attach to the chassis. Do you need to drill holes into the cross member that (in your photos) has "6" on the masking tape, above? Cheers, Richard |

You will owe me a beer for this On the picture "Passengers side" you will see a piece of bent Aluminium which has 3 button headed bolts that attach the radiator support which has the fresh air intake secured in the piece. I hope this helps Cheers Brad |
Hi Brad,
My headers are very similar to what you are building there. Just something to check is the clearance for starter wiring. When you add a thick cable there, clearance becomes tight. I was lucky that I was able to get it to fit but if I had the wire in place when making the headers things would have been easier. Liam |

Mine ended up with a pretty big bundle there as it has main battery feed to the starter (0 guage), alternator charge wire, starter switch wire and also the engine oil level sensor wires (ls motor). I ended up with about 10mm clearance so wrapped it with heat shield foil and secured it to the starter with stainless zip ties.

I see you have a mobile cradle supporting your chassis, what lenght, width and height is it as I am about to make one for my car when it arrives. I only have a 6 x 6 M workshop which I share with my other car and need to be able to roll the chassis around to work on it. Any info from others with mobile cradles to suit Pace 427 would be appreciated as well. Cheers Russell |

If you build one big trolley you will need a hoist to get the car on and off I made two small trolley so I can lift it on and off the trolleys one end at the time with my trolley jack. The size of your jack will dictate the height you make them. Let me know if you want a drawing of what I built |
