Thanks Bob, yes we are. All of our body panels and composite parts are manufactured in house.

I will take some more photos of some of the other trick parts we build.

One of the really nice advantages of using so much carbon in the body construction is that it has an excellent masking effect. So you do not have the transparency issue of fibreglass body. Means you don't have to paint the underside of the body, you can leave the beautiful carbon exposed. Just run some high density foam in the wheel wells to protect the body from damage from debris etc picked up by the tyres.

Simon, your black body is already mounted on it's chassis etc. I have some progress photos for you, check your email.

That is another black body we have just produced.

Craig, great update but those photos don't do it justice.

When you see these bodies with you own eyes... that is where the real beauty is. The carbon work is very very slick and a great detail under bonnet, boot, guards etc.

It still stuns me to see just how good these are popped straight out, and then once a light polish is complete...... pow!

Congratulations guys.

Some exterior photos of another PACE 427 Super Street body. This is just another gelcoat body as it comes out of the mould but with a little detailing.

This customer is not painting the car. Just dropping some white vinyl stripes on it.

This is a custom blue gelcoat colour mix we now offer to customers. Proving quite popular as we already have 3 customers that have selected it.

Enjoy

Looks great Craig. Based on the three cars that Ash owns, hasn't he trademarked that colour already?!?

Craig, yeah, Ash's Cobra is very similar in colour. I would love to compare the difference. Ash's Cobra colour is sensational, so no surprise we have customers that have chosen a similar colour shade.

Tony, this is what we are calling "medium blue". It is the colour body we had out at Queensland Raceway. Just once the body is detailed and buffed that colour really starts to pop. The photos don't do it justice.

I really like the lighter blue that is on Brad's(Cobra01) car as well.

We actually have a new "dark blue" we have mixed up for a customer and it will be coming up soon. And then there is D4's custom light blue. We really have some great colours available.

In essence you can have any solid shade/colour you like in gelcoat, we just keep mixing and trying to develop what we consider the best colours. We also make sure we keep large panels of each colour as samples for customers to look at.

The only blue that has not been mentioned is Guardsman. A taboo word maybe?

Thumbs up

Hi all,

I was lucky enough to get another visit to Absolute Pace last week. I have added a heap of photos to my gallery if you are interested.

Here is a sample.

There are a couple of my 4 year old, who will hopefully be my build buddy...

Thanks Brad, Craig and Greg for your time. It was great to meet you Brad and see your car.

Again I was very impressed with the Pace 427 and the quality of the product is outstanding... a credit to Craig, Rob and the team.

Cheers

Tony

The mirror finish on the firewall makes that last shot look like a V16!

Tony, thanks for posting the pics.
It's great watching the Pace 427 evolve. The kit is surpassing my expectations.
I'm looking forward to seeing exhaust systems, dash layouts and interiors start to get fitted. And who will be the 1st to put one on the road?

Hopefully I can get back AP before the end of the year.

See you soon in Tassie.

Hi Darryl

I am very keen to see one on the road too - you should beat me to that stage! I look forward to you taking me for a spin.

Let me know when you are in Hobart, hopefully we can catch up

Cheers

Tony
