Some advice from Aussie Mike should have these pictures up..............otherwise I have completely rooted the thread !!
Hoping to give some technical info shortly on some of its components. There is a 'Fast' fuel injection system for the top getting sorted at present and looking at a 'Jones racing products' front drive assembly. Will see how it all pans out.

Cheers
Chris

Chris,

Looks good, just wondering what the half moons at the block deck surface are? Head gasket shape, unpainted deck surface?

If it is bare cast iron, I'd paint it block colour.

I'd also paint the timing case gasket black.

Hi Gary;
Its not sealed up yet, so the detailing hasn't been done, but there will be some paint thrown at it for sure.

Chris

Hope this works, picking it up next weekend and having it dropped in that week, all things going well, off to the wiring guru to get it all talking to each other. Apologies for the pictures, they work if you click on them.
It has taken a very long time but I cant fault the quality of what has been done and I am extremely fortunate to have such friends with that kind of expertise. I did try to convince the wife for further investment ( stack injection ) after my engine builder claimed two Bathurst titles and a Supercar Championship arguing the value of the engine just went up !!!. Didn't happen.

Cant wait to see what it makes and have it clear its throat.

Cheers
Chris L

Looks awesome Chris. I'm building a 347 for my Cobra. Unfortunately it is a long way off. I have most of the bits. Scat rotating assembley, 5'0 roller block, Old school front cover, Holley intake, Holley rocker covers, crane roller cam, crane roller rockers, HV oil pump etc. It will be great to see the final figures when yours is completed. What heads are you using?

They are RHS Bender, he felt they were good bang for their buck and he was going to be fiddling with them anyway. He is one of those guys who is happiest if he's done it himself and knows its right. I hope to have some specs for the rest of it in a week when I pick it up.
The brief was 500BHP, we will see how we go.

Cheers
Chris

Looks awesome!!
Keen to see what numbers you end up with..
I am toying with 331, 347 or 363 stroker for my mustang therefore would be interesting to get an idea of what you get out of the 331 with regards to power/drivability and reliability.
Keep us updated.
Cheers

Thanks for the info on the heads Chis. I had a look on their website. They look great for the bucks. Looks like I might need to save a little and order some before the changes in import tax. lol
