Club permit scheme

I know a bloke here in sa with a ford hot rod of some sort with a big blower that's almost as high as the roof it has vic plates and on vic club rego he has a brother or relative over there where the car is supposed to be garaged at .he brags about how he has gotton around the system so he can drive it .
I reckon he will be in for a bit of as shock soon . ive been for a spin in it and tbh its a death trap its over 500 cubes with the blower and some sort of mechanical injection puts out close to 800 hp ive been told it steers and stops like a pig I think this one will just end up as either a show and drag car. anything to get it off the road would be good .

Its ridiculous.
I saw a guy here driving a crappy old rusty corolla on club plates.
Obviously too tight to fix the car or pay rego.
Those idiots and the clubs that let them screw things up for the people who have no other options !!

Well he's been lucky, 'cause even now I know club plates are only good for driving in Vic. To drive interstate you must get your usual temporary permit! One day a cop who knows this will see him hopefully...

[edit] actually I just double checked this before someone else jumped on me - this is true only for WA. Sorry, memory is fading...

I hope he gets caught anyway...
