I went 10 inch rims and 295 tyres on my Evans/Wooley kit by getting half shafts and control arms from a E type that are 3 inches shorter than the standard xjs rear.
The rims were made and the centres reused on the new rims. Backspace was 5 inch so in the centre of the rim which gives 5 inch dish.
