For what is's worth..I'm told the Ladies in the States just cant resist the Aussie lingo. They (the US ladies) claim the American fellas just smile at em and keep going....Us Aussies engage in conversation they find appealing. Maybe that's a sign of desperation 
For all our American cousins...excuse Bernie for any sins he may engage in whist over there...he isn't representative of NORMAL Aussie fellas
