Default Pedal Boxes and Emissions

Ok.

Back AGAIN!

A simple one to start with... Does the RMC kit start with the pedal box assembled? Those with a Holden RMC kit, what did you require from the donor? I'm hoping to keep the 3.08 ratio in the diff cause I do some highway k's and hate to over rev! But what else? Does the diff just need a freshen up? Or does it need shortening?

Those with the Jag version, any of ya's have the Ford rear end? I might be able to get a IRS rear end easy enough.... What work is envolved? Anyone here heard/done one?

AND...

According to the way I read the current regs LPG is possible. A CAT conv. has to be ran as per the standard emissions laws, otherwise seems ok.??.?.? Can I get an old 351, gas it, fit a CAT with the nessesary engine stuff like no smoke, hardened seats, and pass? Anyone have any idea?? Before I ask the engineer? What hoops are the cars tested on before rego? I assume a gas gun is run up the back and a sound test done??

Cheers

Nathan

Re: your gas question.

I only just snuck through in 1999 with my gassed Clevo before the regs got changed in Victoria in regards to the age of a motor.

Contact Vic road for a copy of the Current ADRs (Australian Design Rules)

sevenohms.. aren't you referring to the BRB kit?. It comes either GM (torana) or Jag rear end for the 2000 series.

Far as I know, the RMC only comes as a jag rear kit.
