Cobra Make, Engine: RMC, carb 347 TopLoader and Jag running gear ~ so old school I time it with an hour-glass :D

Default External Boot Hinges
Fitted the battery (in a box) Sunday, its so big - or perhaps the boot is so small - that there is very little room for internal boot hinges.

Have seen a few cobras around with external boot hinges (like those found on an old morris etc).

Other than a wrecker does anyone know where to get them?

Also, any tips on locating the appropriate bonnet (hood) and boot handles/locks would be appreciated.

While we're there - am fitting a battery isolation 'key' to the car - does this meet the requirement for an immobilizer??
