Busting to get there
I have had a couple of runs on the new track and it is better, I have heard people say that it is 1.5s quicker, not sure if that is the case.
My only criticism is a crack that runs the whole length of the straight right down the center, it is just off the race line but you feel it when you run on it.

I posted my entry form and payment today.
Anyone wanna fly out and join me on a road trip? I could do with a second driver.
Or do any of the Darwin guys want to co/drive to and from Nationals?

Good luck with the blue slip if you're in NSW. I waited for 10 weeks before my engineer (who knows a few RTA people personally) discovered that the form was continually circulating between two in/out boxes in the RTA offices.
Have fun at the nationals.

Smithy,
It is worse than that. I have been waiting a couple of months, and have had to take more photos, measure seat anchorages etc. Even though my engine is within the three year period I have been told to do an emissions test. It is a 4 week wait for a booking at Penrith.
My engineer is doing his best to get me through, so I will just have to keep working through the questions.
It would have been nice to have rego and side pipes for the Nationals, oh well.

Peter,
I've got to see the Budgie's Monaro. Can you ask him to bring it to Wakefield? I hear it's foooolly sick!
