Default Fat Ass

Thanks Andrew,
Yes my car is pretty heavy, I know the Dart Windsor block is very heavy and I also have a Lakewood steel bellhousing, rollcage etc etc. With the au rear end it all starts to add up.

I also think the fiberglass in the CR is very thick almost too thick in places.

However, the fat ass has done a 1.11 arround wakefield and an 11.2 on the 1/4 and that is the limit of the diff.

When I replace the diff I should run in the 10s fill the bottle up and should get me in the 9s.

Phil

Hey Les,
I do have one of those skulls that I have named after you; it is the one choking on a chevy badge.

And to answer your question it is one of the ugly ones.

I didnt say it was you - dont be so defensive. That said, it looks like I can pack the gimp suit away.

Ok, found my listing of RMC cobra weights. Lowest was 1119Kg with a 302W. which I suspect is an early single rail car......then all the way up to a heaviest of 1266 Kg with an 5Ltr efi windsor. Quite beefy.

Lets say an average of 1250Kg which is some 100Kg (230Lbs) heavier than say a heavy CR (1150Kg) or some 300Lbs heavier than say a Harrison.

Tis an awful lot when you comparing apples to apples on a track.

G'day All,

My RCM weighed in at 1180kg with 1/2 a tank and without a driver. It didn't have the twin hoops fitted and no interior trim.

Cheers
Al
