Mark has forgotten that Shelby went to Chev first and they knocked him back, so even the man who built these cars really wanted to put a chev in it, we simply carry out his wishes

And ...

It would appear there were a couple of chev powered AC Ace running around years before good ole Shel even thought of the cobra.

From one who was once one of the blue oval's staunchest most one eyed supporters. To have pointed out that the chev came first...

Who me! .... never .... nope .... Not this lil fella.

Always been totally supportive and considerate when it came to those using alternate engines. (crosses fingers)

Don't want ya mask and cloak taa ... you remain the instigator and master of all things involving chevs in cobras.
