Soul, take everything you read in here with a grain of salt.

I am sure if things got serious there would be PM's flying around.

My mistake on the 428, should say 482.

But there were even less 482EFI real Cobra's built in the day, I infact have not heard of any.

Gav,
only if its normal to break traction when you touch the gas pedal, in any gear.
Sambo,
Are u kidding, ive sold my soul to get this baby. And you want me to drive around a track were i have to intentionally push it. Its bad enough ive become more religous since buying it! praying out loud everytime i drive it.
The Arntz on the other hand, could go a qauter mile line up?? with any of those GM powered wannabe cobras!
Soul.

Gav with his Auto will give you a run, just make sure you get in front of him early or some of his Taxi accessoies might fall out and hit your car.

427 sideoiler,twin Carbs originally.
Perhaps one of those missing Shelby chassis, complete with protype 1965 EFI.
Discovered in a barn untouched for 40 years?

There are plenty of super serious "which cobra is correct" type posts on the forum and everyone gets wound up over what color wingnut the originals had on the airfilter.

Knowing most of the guys on this post personally I would say yes we are having a giggle.

I live about 5 minutes from Calder. When the weather warms up again (and I have paint on the car) I'm up for a friday night run down the drag strip. It would be good to get a bunch of Cobras together and make an event out of it.

Cheers
