Paul my rims are from Dragway here in Victoria who makes the rims for the cobra 540 but i changed the centres on my rims to look different to the DRB cobra. if you go through them they already have the off set worked out for you. I bought a BF MK2 xr8 6 speed auto, leather trim and prieum sound with 6,000 on the clock, it came from Adelaide so i went over and picked it up my self its my home town. The donor car was never driven in the rain so it was brand new all over just had a hit up the bum. I paid $11,250 for it in November last year from Pickells auction.

Paul,
Havn't seen anything the would suit. The car that just was registered used a LED brand universal reverse light mounted under the rear of the car beteen the exhaust outlets. I will have a look at that car as well as what DRB do on their car before I decide.

I spoke to Peter on Sunday about the progress of the air con. All of the fittings are finished, they will be getting the controls via the ICC panel in the dash working when their comes back from the painter. The dash needs to be out to fit the air con unit. I will modify the the way the dash mounts to the windscreen brackets so I can get the car painted and still remove the dash.

Once all the insulation has been installed under the car and with all the required parts removed from the falcon the assembly will happen pretty quick.

Talking to my nephew in Alice Springs tonight trying to explain what the 540 looked like and he informed me that it sounded like one he looked at in a shed. Works out it is a 540 No.17,but when it was in transit it suffered some damaged as the doors were moving in the breeze and flogged out the holes on the door strikers as well as damage to the bonnet.Seems these are getting around aussie pretty damn quick.
