Looks great Mando - Picking mine up today from the trimmers today as well. I feellike redoing my wiring though now as yours looks very very neat in comparison....

Hi Boxhead, Im hoping to start the car within the next 6 weeks if everything goes well.
Tenrocca, my wiring looks neat because I didnt do it.
Sambo, the black box is the delay circuit for the seatbelt sign. I dont know how long it needs to stay on to meet ADRs but my choices start at 3 seconds with the next choice being 15 seconds.

I think the time delay is a minimum of 7 or 11 seconds to meet ADR.

Certainly neater than mine! I still had the labelling on at that stage! Seat belt light timer is the black shrink wrapped item in the middle.
The small lights for indicators, hibeam and so on are almost universal here now Clois!

Clois, just as Sambo posted most guys in Australia use those indicator lights. Check that the symbols are actually engraved into the lens and not just printed on top. Ive seen some where the symbols scratch very easily.
Merv, I couldnt find a timer that small. When I saw your photo I rolled my eyes and thought I should have asked the question here on Club Cobra.  I was told J-Car would have them, they did but it was in kit form which needed to be assembled so I finally found my timer unit at an alarm supply company.
I was waiting for one of you eagle-eyes to notice 1 of the gauges doesnt have any connections. The duct feeding the drivers side demister vent fouled the back of one of the gauges. I drilled the side of the gauge to reposition the light from the rear but everything else had to be removed to clear the duct, so that gauge wont work anymore.

I hope its one of them non essential gauges like oil pressure or water temp Mando.
Merv - I can put a pic up of the back of mine - it will make you feel a lot better. I was looking at it last night thinking of ripping it all out, but at the moment I know it works, so will do that at the first rebuild!

Yes do that! I am not embarassed at all. Mine looks quite neat now that the labels are off and the plugs are all on so the dash can be easily removed. This has been a regular activity as I decided to add other things.

Tenrocca, luckily for me there was one gauge that was thinner than all the others which was the VOLTMETER. I still had to cut everything from the back flush with the casing.

i found some new timer relays in the usa
going to use them for a seat belt lights on future corbas
they are adjsutable from 0 to 1 minute
i hope they work with most globes as when u use 12v leds in dashes it causes all sorts of probs
they hsould be easier to fit than the jaycar unit
