Hi Gregg, Im pretty sure Ive got a spare rubber and bezel. Ill take a look over the next couple of days and confirm. I thought the rubber sitting past the alluminium ring looks really good. Im with Tenrocca, I could never trim the rubber to match ring and get a good job.
Regards.

Gregg, I looked through your gallery and the rear stay seems to have quite a bit of angle to it. It looks like the round bezel wouldnt sit right, but that must be from the photo only.
Regards.

Hi Mando,
Its probably the angle form the photo I think. I actually tried one of my round ones (that are for the front) and they do sit ok. Probably a very slight filing on the edge at the front, but a dremel would fix that.
Mando, if you've got a spare that would be fantastic, saves me have to order one from US. No dramas if you havent, I can order a single one form the US with some other goodies if I need to.

Gregg/Tenrocca, have you guys cut the rollbar rubbers at an angle so they sit on the body without the need of the ally rings on top to keep them in position? If so, what did you use and when in position is the join between the the rubber and metal constant? I used a stanley knife and its pretty good but can I improve the join using a dremel for example? The rubber doesnt like having thin amounts, say less than 1/2mm removed using an extremely sharp knife.
Regards.

Hi Mando,
Am going to be doing some work on mine this aro. I found that on the rear stay I am able to use the rear stay "Oval" rubber with the "Circular" Bezel. Although in my case I will need to file/sand the Metal Bezel a fraction - I think I will use the Dremel for this.
Will post some Pics once I get this sorted.
One of the challenges I face is that one of my front circular Bezel fitting locations (the one closest to the edge of the body), the surfce is not flat. I might need to bend the bezel slightly - I am not looking forward to that as I dont know how pliable the bezel is. Gently gently will be my approach.

Hi Mando,
I received the Bezel from you in the post today, thanks for that.
Regarding trimming the grommet, I had to trim the edge of the oval grommet and I used scrissors and then the dremel and then hand sandpapered the rest.
Might not be able to post photos as painter is coming tomorrow night for an inspection before I rip everything off the car for sanding/filling/painting - getting excited now.

Yeah Mando I used a dremel held on the same angle as the bar. Lots of shaving a bit off, testing, shaving, a bit more testing etc
