Its not that hard to make up a bracket
I think this one (mine) is just 4mm plate aluminium - you can - reputedly - cut it using woodworking tools (!)
Couple of spacers and you can put the alternator anywhere you like (almost).
Perfect if you're going for that ' I've run out money...' look
