Mick, I got my heater from Speedy yesterday and it looks like a good little unit. Which way did you mount it? Outlets down, to the left, or...? Did you use their 50mm duct and demister vents?

Paul,

here is a pic of the unit mounted between the rails. Outlets point toward the drivers side.

The outlets are both 44mm
hope this helps

regards

Mick

Very neat Mick! Fits well too in the Harrison.

Thanks Mick. Yeah Jeremy said the 50mm duct (smallest he has) can be made to fit by wrapping foam around the outlets to bulk them up. The wire inside the duct can also be shaped to narrow the diameter where it connects up.

What's the white ducting for in your photo? Seems a little big for that demister!

Default ducting

Paul,

the 3 inch ducting you see in the photo is from the 3 inch fibreglass feeder to the chrome demisters on the dash that direct air to the windscreen. I have to narrow the 3 inch down to the 2 x 44mm outlets on the demister unit.

regards

Mick
