anybody have a picture of a finishline prop rod installed in a trunk (boot)?

I am interested in the pic also..I put the prop rod on my Christmas list..so I am sure Mrs Claus will accomodate me.

I have the same rods as FL (came with my kit) but am thinking of replacing them with the piston type. I have seen these on some other Cobra's and they look like they would work better. Does anyone have a part number suggestion for this type?? Thanks, Earl

Default prop rod

You did not say what you wanted with the prop rod pics. But here is a few that we have in our Cobras. In the last pic you will see Coach used both types of rods. We mount the rods with self tapping screws and sometime bolts thru the bottom of the trunk. Be careful about drilling thru the trunk deck. I hope this helps.

thanks, i wanted to see the mounting points like the blue car. If the botom mount is high or low. the trunk lid front or back. it looks like both bracket were used. thanks again. Peter

thanks rick and dwight. a picture always helps me . on the trunk lid did you just tap into the fiberglass ridge ? was there metal in there?

I made a formed metal plate from aluminum and used structural adhesive to attach it to the underside of the fiberglass.
