I will post updates and info as I get into it. Mounting bar came with it. Probably going to do a separate switch with a circuit breaker and relay. I want to test them with my DC power supply. Here is where I got them from.

I purchased the same set up and installed them on my SPF Cobra. The mounting brackets on the side are a joke. There is no way that you can use them. They are so flimsy that you can't weld them to the bar. You will have to fabricate something to be able to attach the bar to. Not impossible but it will be necessary. Mine is operated on a dedicated circuit with a relay controlled by its own switch on the dash board. I agree that the puller fans do a great job but the pushers are for eye candy.

I take it you are referring to those little plates that were taped on to one end. I pretty much discounted them. I will figure out something for the brackets. I am pretty pleased with the quality of the set up. I will run a 12v lead with a reset breaker off the backside off the battery cut off to a relay that will be activated by the ignition switch. From there through a toggle with a blue LED indicator to the fans. I don't want them running unless I switch them on.

Fred, I added two buss bars (1 + and 1 -) in the trunk near my battery cut off. Ran a 40 amp C/B to the positive one.

Mainly so it would be easy to add-remove items to the car. Like the EFI setup I experimented with a couple of years ago, added phone charger etc...

I had Lucas toggles for a short while for fans, fuel pump, and used metal switch labels from https://www.bits4landys.co.uk/series...s-switches.htm

As usual the Lucas switches died in short order. (I should know better)

I never even considered a phone charger. Hi tech. Here is a picture of the unit with a ruler. It's about 1 inch too long to fit so I trimmed a half off each side. Mounting will require a little creative engineering as all of the structure around the radiator is fiberglass. You need about 2 inches of clearance from the support to the radiator for fan clearance. The motors are heavy and not balanced on the support so the want to roll. That issue is solved with 2 supports. I will figure it out.

I came upon these while searching around. Stainless steel. They extend out 3 1/2 inches. I ordered a pair to test them out. Anyone recognize them?

I'm thinking I'll hold off on the fans until I do the radiator. I have the factory E36 radiator now. Works fine just really old and I'm not fond of plastic end caps.
It will be either a Mishimoto or CSF radiator.
