Jim, Thank you for the lead. I believe the color would have to be changed for me and the price seems a little optimistic.

Black Cherry paint on an aluminum CSX.

Certainly not a color I would choose.

Asking $160K for a CSX with Black Cherry paint may be optimistic, since I would think most aluminum CSX buyers would have to budget a complete repaint.

But plan to spend $130,000-$150,000 for any completed and sorted aluminum CSX. A top notch fiberglass CSX in BLACK with an original SOHC engine sold for $110,000 at auction recently in Monterey.

I wasn't aware that Evan (REAL 1) is selling his aluminum CSX. If so, then you should buy it.

He just posted a couple of hours ago in this thread: Why do people sell their Cobra? and gave no indication whatsoever that his car was for sale. In today's market I would think you could get a decent deal, uhhh with those rebuilt carbs and all, and maybe he'll throw in a couple shots of Kate Middleton, too.

I am not sure about the CSX prices at auction v. not at auction but I know the Ferrari prices tend to be greatly inflated at auction (especially Pebble Beach).

It's freakin' BEIGE...

You love it. Otherwise, you wouldn't have a picture of it up on your wall at home. Remember this? Big block or small block?

Please stop posting gratuitous pics of that rolling blight in the threads of innocent people.
