				 Goodyear F1-GS tire issue
I've had a set of the above 315/35/17 Goodyear's on the rear of my Superformance for 7 years. The fronts look like they just came off the rack and the rears appear to have more than half the original tread. The car actually has 24K miles on it.
For those that know me, they might say I'm heavy footed through 2nd gear. On any other car I would be on my 3rd set of rears. It seems that they either have extraordinary wear or the weight of the Cobra just doesn't allow enough friction to eat them up.

Anyway...this is part one of my dilemma. I have 3 Goodyear's that are darn near good as new. One is worn on the inside past the wear bars on only half the tire. The other half looks perfect. The tread wear is absolutely flat across the entire tire. Goodyear and Les Schwab both GUESS that the tire has separated inside thus causing a bubble which expands while driving and wears excessively on that spot.....Sound accurate? I'm no tire expert.

Dilemma part two.... Goodyear F1's have been discontinued, however, the actual Goodyear store can get a rear set for $351 + tax etc. each out the door. Les Schwab sells the same tires for $463+ tax etc. each. Schwab gave me some lame reason why the price was so high but ...whatever.

So the question is .....should I buy the two rears cheap as they are or replace all 4 with something else. ANY SUGGESTIONS? Please no $500 each P-Zeros or tires in the $500 each range. I need to keep the price in the $1200 range for the set, or I'll go ahead and take my chances on the Goodyear's.
