Tom,

No problem. The only issue with borrowing these latch covers from a completed car is I believe they go in before the rear wheel-wells. You'd have to remover the rear wells then the latch covers. They are a slightly contoured shape to protect the door latch mechanism from road debris and about the size of a dinner plate.

Regarding the build manual, you can download a copy of the original manual if you don't have one. I believe RB_moore on our forum has this digitized.
