Sourced the hood prop at a Pick N Pull salvage yard off a British car many years ago. I think it was an MG or maybe a Triumph of 70's or 80's vintage. I use the big metal rod hood prop that came with the CR kit as a poker for my fireplace. It works pretty good for that.
