That intake setup is going to starve that engine of fresh air. Replace the lid with a filter lid.

Not much room between hood and aircleaner cover, I had to make the base to sit low enough

Is it bad when you notice the door jamb switches and center mounted courtesy lights ......

I would say "OCD" but that is out of sequence- it should be "CDO"
