DV
You should have a couple of needed items showing up today, along with a new toy to play with.
What's the ETA on firing that bad boy up?

ED,
Don't mean to be putting you off (phone line is back in!) Just got the fitting for the motor for the heater hose, both fittings and adapters from #6 to #10 haven't come in yet. (Transmission.) Rear end pinion isn't set yet, (Going to try and post pictures of the lazer tool doing that.) Choke cable is now through the dash and hooked up, gas pedal is now mounted, cable run but needs set up. The new switches will be put in, the old ones removed, the master switch will be moved, all cavity's will be filled with the proper fluid, run a couple of fans for the headers until they are broken in. Hook up the overide switch for the fan, (heater coupler is already in), also put in the coupler to the temp gauge in the block, out of sight by the way, much neater this way. Heater lines are run and hooked up, now just the heater fan motor and the two servos.
Probably more than you wanted to know.
Hopefully tomorrow after noon we'll fire it up via "hot wire" then the remote/button starter will be finalized.
Believe it or not the four point just got about 150% easier to do! I forgot the last Cobra I built was local and I put in a 4-point in his car. I can use his as a template instead of starting from scratch!
Think I'll finish up the servos on the heater now....
DV
PS- Hope your back is at least letting you go about the day without grief!

DV!!!! YOUR BACK!!!
Done playing with the backhoe?
Thanks for the update!!! I'll be over to your place a week from this Saturday. Just got back from the doctor and I do have to get the back fixed. The schedule is up to me, but he wants to do it sooner than later. We can talk about that next week. When you get caught up, post some pics.
Hey don't forget to swap the location of the speedo and the tach... remember?

Looking good DV...
Sent you a PM about the drive shaft and the tubing.
Let me know if there's anything else you need. Have a good weekend and don't work to much. People are starting to comment on our work habits

Cpteddie,
You have FR steering wheel D-FR20130BK, you have the horn button kit but I can not find the necessary adapter # FR20160AD which is sold seperately.
This wheel may take a plastic cover between the adapter and the wheel (?) which is also missing, including a heavy duty spring. Also missing. The fine tooth nut on top of the column which this wheel may or not use is also not available. I do have the six bolts for the wheel but that is all.
A call to FR for the adapter and the necessary parts, if needed, needs to be ordered so we can steer this thing 1800-648-8022, Thank you Sir, your attention to this would be greatly appreciated-unless it is in the shop in a hidden spot again!
Sure would like to steer this baby monster!

Nothing comes up under that part # at FR or Summit.
Not sure if there will be anyone at Fr on a Saturday, but I'll try calling them in a couple of hours.
I have the round center horn disc. Remember you said the logo reminded you of Factory 5 and I said I'll take that with me and see if I can get something a little more custom made, but thats the only piece I took.

OK,
The numbers are NOW right. The ....160AD is an accessory part that is needed to mount the wheel. I doubt if Summitt would have anything needed on the accessory side.
On the other side, Chad finally, after over 40 parts found the right adapters to the tranny and I am putting them in now. Stainless #6 to Stainless #10 to the oil cooler.
Sorry about the mistyping.
