Venamm, by all means use the one you like. The concept is what I am talking about, you certainly don't need to use the one I did. HOWEVER, the PVC pipe is an option, they also call for a 3/4 black pipe to use at the bottom. The choice is yours. I have used the black pipe and am quite happy with it. Here's a shot from the inside with the screen rolled partially up while I have the transom of a boat pulled in for work.
