Default a few more pics

Here's some crappy iphone pics of front end/motor from today. I bought a few more bits/pieces like air cleaner, fittings, steering wheel, heated seats etc. I imagine car will be well plumbed early this coming week ready for fluids. Dash should come out the mold by Monday and once thats fitted wiring should be going on next week. We may start this sucker soon!

I personally love the way Larry fabricated the simple brackets that keep the accessories low and tight in the engine bay. I think its a very clean look.

You all might look for it at the Darrell Starbird show in mid Feb. I'm hopefull it fairly complete except for paint. On to the pics.

Kudos to giving props on those small "insignificant" brackets Mat! I, along with many others I'm sure, can attest to how many hrs such a small and often looked over piece can take. Personally, I looked at this setup just the other day and my eyes went straight to those brackets first thing... Larry impressed as usual and I am excited to see how clean this car is coming together.

Car looks great, do you remember where you got the alternator bracket from?

Regards.

Larry built all the brackets. Sorry for the poor pic on the alt bracket, all you can really see is the piece the alt tab slides on to tighten it. Its bolted to the water pump, which I think you can see. Larry had that piece left over from past endevors. The piece bolted to the head he fabricated. I'll try to get a better pic of it next time. AC/heater hoses are routed now and he's working on wiring and dash now. Mike is right, its extremely clean and simple looking right now.

I think it is time to open up a new thread and call it what it is:

New JBL Daytona Coupe Build. There will be more pictures and another option in the very near future. Besides this thread doesn't tell the first timer what he/she is viewing.

I've got a better idea, let's open up a new thread and call it JBL Competition Roadster with Gessford Aluminum 427w IMCA spec motor, that should be the next one out the door

Good idea Clois. Consider it done. Check out my new thread everyone. I'll continue to update pics there.

Not a bad Idea.

Particularly as it is the last Comp roadster to be built.
