The wet sanding is complete and the polishing should be complete on Monday. They guys will start on the finally assembly of the stuff the took off. New pick up date is July 17th. I hope it happens. Time to work in the garage again to get ready for the car coming back.

I did my own body and paint work and those louvers were a total pain to spray and polish out. I think I sprayed them 3 times before I came out with a smooth finish on all surfaces. Car and color look great.

Ha, I bet... thanks. The color really makes it pop, I can’t wait to go back on Friday, praying no more hiccups. Once the other parts are back on it should really look good. I will not be putting stripes on it.

Love the no stripes look! Strongly considering that on my build.

As of yesterday, trunk wiring is complete. Carpet being installed today in the trunk. Front end - wiring complete, lights installed, vents and tubing back in. Up next once the trunk area is finished will be to front end to reinstall the jack pads, radiator and fans. The interior, finishing the tunnel work, carpeting and putting on doors will be last.

Checked in yesterday, the car might be ready Monday or Tuesday next week for pickup. The items remaining for them to finish are installing the carpet on the floor (the rest is done), install the roll bar, install the windshield and install the doors .... so fingers crossed and will post photos once it is back home.

The car is home. Spent last weekend wiring up the dash which is also now in car. The front wiring harness is about 50% done and will be finished this weekend. Seeing progress but slow going for me.

Your car is coming along very nicely, it is going to really be stunning in that color!

My ERA FIA body/chassis just shipped yesterday (ordered 38 months ago). I have been living vicariously following you and others build their cars. I am finally going to be building my car.
