 forged pistons
New Holley 600 cfm DP carburetor

 high-volume oil pump
Functional oil cooler with stainless braided lines

 big spline toploader 4spd
 Lakewood blow-proof bellhousing
 New Centerforce Clutch
 ceramic-coated headers
Full front & rear bumper hoops
 wipers
 Moto-Lita mahogany steering wheel
 Street Dash
 Stewart Warner gauges
 15" true knock off wheels
 ERA built jag suspension
 Inboard Brakes

 Front and Rear Sway Bars
 glovebox
 Leather seats
4-point harnesses for driver and passenger

Again this was a turn key car built by ERA
Titled in NJ as a 1966 Ford Convertible
less than 6,000 miles (subject to change at a moments notice as I do like to drive this car) since delivered in 1990

Thought I was going to be able to keep it and went completely through the car with that in mind. However circumstances far beyond my control dictate the sale.

 Car is now under contract.

Additional hi res pictures available in 3- 6 meg zip files for serious buyers only.

 Sincerely,

This car is a no brainer. I can't believe nobody has jumped at a $47k ERA with a 427 SO. This is the car I would be looking at if I were in the market.

Wish I could convince my wife that I need another Cobra.

If I could this would be the one!

 Cheers!

				 ERA For Sale
Okay, as you can tell from my name, I'm new to the Cobra game. I'm seriously looking at Superformance, but the price on this ERA is hard to beat. Can someone give me a brief description of the differences between and ERA and a Superformance? Is one better than the other?
 Thanks.

CobraNV, Buy this one, you will not be sorry.
It is done, sorted out and has a 427 Side Oiler. You want the experience of an original Cobra at a fraction of the cost, this is the car for you.

 | I personally would take an ERA over an SPF, however both cars are of equal quality, I just think the ERA is closer to correctness in some areas.

The car for sale in this thread is a smokin deal, I can't believe nobody has jumped on it, but then again it's the end of the season now.

When I was getting disgusted waiting for my Shelby roller, I considered just buying a turn key used ERA. I would have JUMPED all over this car in a second.

When I bought my car, I narrowed the field down to ERA and SPF, both excellent cars. The ERA, being molded from an original car, is more "authentic" if you will; the SPF has a little more room inside, a big consideration for me. There's a lot more to the story than that, or course, but this looks like a LOT of car for the money. Actually, it's a bit worrisome that it's still for sale. What the heck's happened to the Cobra market???
If I bought this car, I'd want to put a soft top on it, but at $47K, it looks to be very reasonably priced, giving a new owner plenty of room to make a few improvements without spending more than the value of the car.

Another major consideration is that the folks at ERA have a great reputation for quality work and excellent service, which applies to non-original owners as well as original customers.

If you want a very authentic appearing car with IRS, an FE and a 4 speed, it's hard to see how you could go wrong on this one...

I think money is tight right now, considering the time of year and the economy. This deal sounds great for someone with the extra cash.

I have drooled over this car so many times its not funny any more, just painful. I have an SPF that I bought before I saw this one, and I absolutely love it, but would give it up in a second for this car. Somebody buy this ERA so I can get it out of my head...my wife will thank you.
 James
