JOEPASSION@aol.com I have a friend who has built over 2 dozen 56-57 T-Birds, a 67 GT500 and other Shelby mustangs as well as other cars and has completely checked out this car. It may not be an ERA, but then, as he mentiopned to me> IT did not cost over
50 thousand, doesn't over heat, is driver friendly and can be easily repaired as the engine is a 351w with room to spare and is not a mix match of used parts. All new BMW running gear.
It has approx 320hp, which for me is more than enough power.
A set of alluminum heads would add another 75 hp or so.
As the guy at DMV said, it was one the best built Cobras he has seen. I do agree if you want a 450hp engine you may need a different rear end. So far I love mine Joe |
