FFR vs Turnten racing

any input on comparisons good or bad would be a help
I like the frames on both the look pretty much the same so far from my investigating.

These are the only 2 manufactures that I have found suppling these type of frames .. that will be good for racing and cruzing

Um........Why. Sales of the rollers are through an American Company, Turn Ten Racing, Inc. The profit from the sales stays here. Matter of fact, the turnkey minus cars are completed in the U.S.. The engineering performed at D&D is great and the price for what you are getting is great. The parts to finish the car are usually sourced in America. If you own a Cobra replica of any kind the odds are that percentage of the parts are made in England, China or other places and this includes parts on FFR's and Shelby’s. There are many great manufactures whose products are not made here like Superformace. I'm all for the "Buy American" attitude, but you are not talking about Toyota here. Start looking a little closer at what you are getting and not who is making it.

Hey! An awful lot of those Toyotas are built right here in the U.S.A. in fact Honda and Nissan also have plants here.

Yes, I know this. My point was that we are not some huge company taking profit from the American economy. I know there are many people working at plants here in the U.S. for Japanese companies.

I'd like to see the Turn Ten car up close, it looks like a nice car. The FFR cars I have seen have ranged from terrible to really nice depending on the quality of work done.

Turn Ten Racing, Inc. and D&D will be at Carlisle, PA this coming weekend. All of our rollers come with glossy powder coated frames and suspension parts and the attention to detail is great. We are having a full blown display roller done at the moment and it will be used for showing customers the quality of our turnkey minus and roller cars and for a little track fun from time to time. It will be making its way around New York and maybe parts of New England this summer depending on time. It seems that you are very on top of things. One thing that I have learned in me research to buy my car is that pictures, though great for research, aren't always the same as standing next to the car. I'm sure at some point I will get to see one of your cars up close & can only guess that it will be as nice as the pictures show. All the little details are what make a nice car!

I was thinking the same thing about the kmp body. I assume chuck is going with the kmp is far superior theory. Kirkhams are definately beautiful. I'm a believer in you get what you pay for.

I thought your analogy of Kirkham was a good one. I also feel that folks should support a fellow Cobra enthusiast and CC member first. I feel Mike is working on a superior product here with lots of additional strength and engineering applied to that chassis...very nice!

That is exactly correct. If I had a choice between an American built aluminum body and the Polish one, assuming they were equal, I would buy the American one. If the Turn Ten product is better and cost are close ,then go with the better product. I am not an isolationist,I just try to give preference to American made goods when I can. chuck

I like things like the round frame and the floor mounted pedals from Turn Ten Racing . FFR's frame is a combo of round tube and square tube. Those along with the more original shape body (no offense to the FFR crowd)... I'd buy the Turn Ten car.
