Their showcase track ready CCX FIA prototype car had steering arms cut, rotated and welded and bolted into a new position to reduce bump steer. The Jag geometery correctly installed should be pretty nice. We were going to do a dropped E type axle with the front uprights of a hot rod but the geometry worked so well simply lowering it and leaving it alone worked. That does lower the instant center and roll center significantly. The picture shows the steering mods and the large by huge 6 piston Wilwoods I was putting to it. The owner is a hot shoe :-)

That's interesting. That upright and steering arm is the same as the first ones I had, which had bump steer problems. The replacements had the steering arms angled down by maybe 15 degrees, but that's only a guess.

Hi

Paul - The funds unfortunately, are not a given at this stage and are dependant entirely upon my wife ( and how much she will let me have ) , hence why I have not yet been up to see Marlon.

Re - the Front uprights - I thought they may be missing as the hubs were too - Marlon did explain what happened to them to me.

From Nick's post I assume that the Jaguar uprights should be ok but may need some fettling.

Once again thanks for all your input and now I'll be looking for Jag breakers in the UK.

I have what your looking for. I have the complete front end assemblies, left & right sides for a CCCMC Coil Over with pin drive set-up. Only drove 2oo miles with this set-up before changing it to another set-up. Send me an email at downtime000@yahoo.com and I'll send you the pictures.
