Thank you for the feed back Brian (Cycleguy55) who and where did you have your Richmond rebuilt?
I found a place, SK transmission in Lindenhurst, that told me they have the parts but I would have to bring him the old bushing and front seal to match what he has. The Richmond transmission do have interchangable parts with GM's muncie transmissions and the 350/400 transmissions.

I had it rebuilt locally (Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada). That rebuild included welding and machining the case to deal with a bearing support that had somehow become enlarged, allowing the countershaft (IIRC) to move around.

Old West Islip boy here. So good to hear that SK Speed is still alive! Spent lots of $$$$ in my youth at their old Rte 109 location. Good luck getting your transmission together.
