Default Roush gasket leak

So my antifreeze leak has been found and repaired, the gasket under the front corner of the intake manifold was the culprit. For that matter every corner looked almost this bad but this one had a little geyser shooting up out of it.

I had to remove the Borland 8 stack EFI and the manifold, clean it all up and put new felpro gaskets down and torque to the correct specs.

I saw a video where someone recommended not putting rtv under the felpro around the water ports as it can cause the gasket to slip like this one had done.

A bummer to keep finding leakers on my car but fixing and driving is what we do.
I put on some new hoses while I was at it.

Fel Pro makes a steel core lined intake gasket.
The steel lining is sandwiched inside the usual gasket material.
Designed to stay in place and not deform or tear due
to high vacuum, possible crankcase pressure, etc.

Can't attest to it personally, but guys I know who blowout
intake gaskets annually have used these with good success.

Good luck.

Use yellow weather stripping adhesive under the intake gasket.....then use a rubber mallet to tap all over the gasket.....everywhere....then install the intake...

The gasket on the supercharger on my Ford GT was of similar construction. Indeed, I feel that under boost this gasket would have been a weak point but it showed no deformation and was easy to remove and replace and reuse when I had to R&R the blower. If a gasket of this type is available I'd recommend it.
