I would be concerned about what the heat associated with powder coating might do to the cans. They look like they may be soldered ....

I've been running DOT 4 ever since I got the car and it hasn't done anything to the paint on the three cans yet. Maybe I'm just not as sloppy as some!

I've been using DOT 4 too. And mine are all crinkled up. I've never spilled a drop either. I wonder if it has anything to do with driving habits and sloshing?
