I was driving home last night and lost all of my instrument lights. I'm not good with electrical items. I checked all of the fuses, all good. I rotated the dimmer switch back and forth and got nothing. Car #269.

I'd start with the gauge ground first, then where the gauges pick up power.
poor ground of the fiberglass dash----run a test ground lead to any single bulb that you can reach and see if it comes on-----------
On an ERA, if you lose the light circuit grounds (at the steering column mount), you will also lose the tachometer ground and it will also cease to function.
The tach was always been a problem, I will check the ground, thank youe.
