Make sure its not off the brake/clutch/accelerator pedals or pushrods etc, you don't want to find that out the hard way.

1 C clip on wiper motor as rally has said
2 C clip on one of the universal joint to hold into yoke or outshafts
3 C clip is spare parts from previous repair and got left in car and fell under rug

Check all the drive shafts for retainer "C' clips.

You know to mark all the parts for changing a seal on the rearend?
Later Rick Match the clip to see if it's the same size as the "u" joint retainers

Take a quick look at the underside of the ferrules in the doors for the side curtains. They are retained by a snap ring about that size. Quick easy check to see if one is missing the snap ring.
