Default Modified jaguar parts from ERA

Need some info regarding the Jag rear end parts... After they are modified. Need to verify the lengths cause it looks like my control arms are short about 1.5" on each side...

Half shaft length center to center
Control arm length center to center
Rear track width

Thank you.

ERA modifies to stock E type length. A E type rear from the 60s would fit an ERA without mods.

I went with the outboard braked rear, so it's not like I can trot down to the garage and check but, as I remember it, there are four pre-XJ40 widths of the Jaguar IRS floating around out there. Plus, you can also run across different coil-over shock installations and different brake options and locations.

So, with that said, and with no guaranties as to accuracy, measured from wheel flange to wheel flange, here are the numbers:

XJ6/XJ12 1549.4mm/61 inches
E‐Type 1320.8mm/52 inches
Mk10 & 420G 1536.7mm/60.5 inches
S‐Type & 420 1397mm/55 inches

Thanks, need the control arm and half shaft dims though too... I have my rear all together and installed in the car. It looked a little odd to me before I installed it but figured it would be o.k. once it had weight on it. The rear wheels look like the front end of a 40's tractor (7.20 degrees positive camber both sides) the sway bar looks to be too wide to line up with the lower control arm mounting brackets and even with the coil overs adjusted all the way out there's still a huge angle in the suspension geometry. Calipers, rotors, all dead nuts where they should be unless I'm losing it and missed something. Everything is lined up in the cage where it should be. Even had my buddy take a look at it and we're both scratching our heads cause we're pretty seasoned gear heads.

Maybe someone can throw in their two cents...

O.K. that's the problem... Control arms are an inch short 15.25" Half shafts are dead on... Give you a ring tomorrow. At least I know what the issue is now. Guess I'll cancel the appointment to my shrink.

Thanks again.

That's an odd length for the control arms. It's not even the same as the extra-short ones we make for the Slabside.

Down under they reportedly shorten the LCAs quite often. I remember this thread from a few years ago. And 390mm is just about 15.25":

Not sure what happened, measured them about a dozen times just to make sure I wasn't mistaken... They're definitely an inch short.
