I went over to ERA at lunchtime today with my digicam in hand. I have quite a few photos of the Twin Paxton Black Beast which I will put up on a web page from my web server. The Paxton car was being worked upon as I was there and the dashboard was being wired and fitted and the tunnel fitted to the automatic transmission lever bezel. The hood of the Black Beast was up in the loft and it too was "special". I am not too sure the photo of it will display well as black could hide the lines. This hood was probably not easy to fabricate.
The car is a challange it appears as there is not too much "normal" or regular on it in the engine compartment. The expansion tank is way way out front extended due to the superchargers. The carbs are Holleys and the intake is an Eldebrock with side by side carbs. The carb linkage is also not standard. I think it will be a bear to check the oil on this car.
In addition, Don's car is back in the shop from the painters and appears to be the next in line for fittment and installation. His is red with gold stripes. Don, there is another red car there with silver stripes on it. Being color blind, I can get those confused.
