Toured the factory in 1998, when I lived in NY. (Tour from Mark Smith, met Dave too.)
Bought the donor for $1800 two weeks later. Bought and built the kit in 1999 Took me 40 hours of my time to build Total cost $16,057 (everything including kit, donor and paint) Only problem over the years was blowing out 3rd gear. Got a junkyard T5 for $220 |
