a Basic build, Stock 302 Fuel Injected Engine, Painted by Jeff Miller in Temecula.Ca, Ford Royal Blue with GM Artic White Tapered Stripes, Chromed Cobra Rs 17x9 all around with Khumo tires: 245/45/17 front and 275/40/17 in the rear. Added a sound system if you can believe it, and it is powerful enough to hear over the sidepipes! Kenwood Stereo, 2 Amps, 6 speakers, a subwoofer with a 1 Farad Capacitor, reducing the trunk capacity to zero! made all this removable tought. Black with Silver stripes Hardtop with same color combo and windows 91, 302 with Edelbrock aluminum heads, 1/7 roller rocker Crane cam, 528 lift., 93 Cobra 2 intake, 70 mm throttle body, 77 mm Pro-M mass air meter, 24 lb injectors, underdrive pulleys. FFR 2698K is still in the build stage (been almost 2 years.) Just fired the engine about 3-1/2 weeks ago since then I've been out of town once again.
Anyway here's the setup. 8.8" IRS Setup w/ 285/40-17 on the rear Smith Gauges w/ a Modified Competition Dash Layout 17" Chrome Cobra R Rims (may get some Halibrand Knockoffs later.) EFI 302 - w/ 70mm TB/EGR, Typhoon Intake, 24lb injectors, 1-5/8" headers, March Underdrive Pully/Bracket Setup, PS w/ Heidts Prop Valve. It will be painted Black w/ Old Gold Stripes. Just ordered my kit on the first of July, and a delivery date of 11Oct. As for me I'm currently stationed in S.Korea with the USAF, and I'm a Crew Chief on F-16's. I should be home on Sep 23rd if all goes well. Back to the FFR....... Almost no donar build 383w EFI Spyder intake Canfield Stage II heads PMS fuel injection computer 4 into4 headers Tremec 3550/ hurst shifter Centerforce clutch 3-link/ coilovers 5lug/4 wheel disc brakes Bullit wheels (for now) Haven't really decided on color... probobly silver, black stripes and anything else I can get my hands on to stick in this car...thats it for now.... -wingnut13 |

I too am almost done. FFR3817 breathed it's first breath a couple of weeks ago. The body is at the painter now.

Getting closer on my build. Body is being painted and I am now working on the cooling system and the wiring. I hope to fire it up in the next couple of weeks.

Took delivery of my FFR in Jan. 2001. FFR 2372K. Still on stands but up and down a few times for various fittings...
Powerplant: Estimated 575 HP at 7800 rpm All aluminum K block (sprint car race engine) 4-bolt splayed mains (all 5 mains) billet stroker crank (409 cid) dry sump (3 gallons) Weaver 3 stage, belt driven AFR 185 heads solid tappet cam (Clay Smith) .560 lift, 306 deg. duration Edelbrock Nascar single plenum med. riser intake Single Holley 750 dbl. pumper 4 into 4 headers/side pipe exh. Jetinetics Racing One Shot ignition,crank trig. (1 coil per cylinder) McCleod Alum. flywheel, clutch, press. plate (just the basic set-up) Tremec T56 six speed gearbox 8.8 T-bird IRS (haven't chosen final gears yet) Halibrands (splashes of originals) Dunlop S9000 tires 22 gallon custom made fuel tank (I needed the weight) Estimated weight w/fuel and oil-1550 lbs. Still waiting for McCleod scatter shield due in mid-Nov. to hit the ground and fuel it. Bodywork complete, wiring complete, all mechanicals complete. Still building up the courage to drive it... |
