Got my Mark III F5R1004473RD delivered Dec 7th almost a roller but not quite. I decided to go with a FMS 302/340 horse E cam engine and carb. 5 speed with 3.73's. Dual chrome rollbars.

Just bought FFR 1445k yesterday.
So far: Ford Racing 302 longblock, GT-40 heads, Inglese induction (weber 44 ida x4), MSD ignition, Mallory distributor, BBK HD rear control arms, Pete Jackson gear drive, RAM clutch, Stewart-Warner gauges, rear disk conversion, chrome bumpers, and March pulleys.
Painting it Electron Metallic Blue w/ white stripes.
Car is running, but not driving, body is not prepped or painted or on the car.

Condensed list of Engine Parts for Nick’s FFR 1765 “Shelby Cobra”
It’s a MKI but I modified it so it’s more like a MKIII well maybe one and two thirds; new door hinges, hood hinge, foot box protection tubes, trunk hoop, other odds & ends. The car is 98% all new parts - no donor.
The Engine:
Ford 302 Cubic Inch (5.0 liter) Roller Block, bored .030 over to 347 Cubic Inches, align bored and decked – Block honed, prepped and checked by S&K Speed
Crankshaft: steel billet, (Balanced piston assembly) oil holes chamfer - polished and checked by S&K Speed
Pistons: Keith Black 4.030” flat top, Compression ratio 9.5:1
Connecting Rods: “Sportsman” forged steel
Piston Rings: Seal Power
Cam shaft: Comp Cam Custom grind - 230/230 duration @ .050” with .590”/.590” lift
Timing Chain & gears – Dual Chain drive
Heads: Dart II heads (Sportsman) Valves: 2.02 inch intake, 1.60 inch exhaust, Combustion Chamber: 64cc
Roller Rockers: Harland Sharp 6:1 ratio
Push Rods: Comp Cam - hardened
Exhaust: MAC shorty headers, ceramic coated, into custom low restriction side pipes

Howdy all,
Curtis here with FFR4426, recently graduated. Speedway blue, Wimbledon white, body work and painting done by me. (first and last time). I rebuilt a 91' block 302 with Ford racing aluminum heads, E303 cam, 4 into 4 headers, Redline computer running FI stack system.

I have had mine 7 years and am in the process of trying to sell it (see for sale section ad placed 12-15-06). It is 2,200 pounds, 500 Hp and with the 4 link and Nitto drag radials really hooks up! Mine is more of a 0-80 MPH monster with OK handling and OK breaking. The car is a pleasure to drive, and I get all kinds of attention when going for a cruise! No doubt the wonderful owners group, Smith Brothers and associated forums like this one make it a joy to own.
