Howdy all,

Curtis here with FFR4426, recently graduated. Speedway blue, Wimbledon white, body work and painting done by me. (first and last time). I rebuilt a 91' block 302 with Ford racing aluminum heads, E303 cam, 4 into 4 headers, Redline computer running FI stack system.

I have had mine 7 years and am in the process of trying to sell it (see for sale section ad placed 12-15-06). It is 2,200 pounds, 500 Hp and with the 4 link and Nitto drag radials really hooks up! Mine is more of a 0-80 MPH monster with OK handling and OK breaking. The car is a pleasure to drive, and I get all kinds of attention when going for a cruise! No doubt the wonderful owners group, Smith Brothers and associated forums like this one make it a joy to own.

Hello.
I go by Starboy on FFR's site, but this is my first post here.
I went the donor route with a `99 Cobra I bought Sept. of `05. I got my kit delivered in December of `05, but it's still got a little ways to go. I've driven it with the body on now for about 10 miles to try to get some of the kinks out, but mostly working on mounting components. I went with aftermarket wiring from Ron Francis and The Detail Zone, Tbird rear spindles and brakes, IRS, and Chrome bumper package from FFR.
Probs:
My PS is leaking a little, rear diff is leaking a bit, rear wheels are rubbing when the tank is full (ordered a set of spacers to widen a bit), emergency brake needs to be tightened to engage, wheels need alignment, high beam beam works but indicator stays on all the time, and the wipers need to get installed.
Good:
All gauges, lights, switches, and drivetrain appear to work very well.

Once I get a few things fixed and installed I'm getting insurance and inspection to start the titling process. During the mounting process I've decided to have someone else finish up the body so if anyone knows of a good source near Dallas drop me an email.

Hi Guys,
Not to get off subject, but if anyone building an FFR needs a cool drivetrain, I have one for sale. Its a 4.6 DOHC with a stack set-up, TKO 600, Lakewood, Hydraulic throwout and FFR coated headers. This is a serious engine, new in the crate.

If the parts don't move as a group in the next month or so, I will break them up.

Just an FYI

Default Hello All

I am building the FFR GTM. Slow progress but hope to be done by late Spring.
I am waiting on a few parts to finish up the panels then I will go to paint. Can't wait for final assembly and test drive. During my wait I have begun the body assembly. It's coming along very well. Hope to meet up with the local cobra club soon.
