Then it doesn't matter on the rings. He was just making sure you weren't shooting for a particular ring combo, or already had the rings in hand.

It'll be a screamer !

I even call George of Gessford, no luck since it's a custom slug, and not on the shelf. .
As a note, I guees I'll have to use the Edelbrock heads.

The set of pistons I have here is for a 4.375 bore with a 6.8 rod and a 4.125 stroke. I have rods and maybe the crank too - dedicated to another build but duplicatable. Maybe we can find you a "rental" engine.

Brett - the 460 parts wont work out. The valve pockets are way wrong - many 460 slugs have no exhaust pocket at all and the underside of the piston does not have the meat to allow putting an FE pocket in there without hitting daylight. Tried that once upon a time.... BBC pistons can sometimes be made to work.

Barry- I appreciate you checking into it. My motor is square, and the Callies rods are BB Chevy 6.7.
