I made the brackets out of 0.040" thick aluminum that I had left over from a cooling fan shroud project. I already had some stainless steel button head self tapping sheet metal screws laying around. I just under-bored the holes by 0.020", pre-tapped them with the screws, trimmed the screws to length and tightened everything down. About an hour's labor...

I made some brackets out of aluminum strap so they go in front of the valve covers.
